Andrew Doyle is a playwright, journalist, and political satirist from Northern Ireland, who has written for the fictional character Jonathan Pie and created the character Titania McGrath.
He is a Trig favourite and has appeared on the show over a dozen time while interviewing with the guys and in his on monologues talking about free-speech, cancel culture, identity politics, wokeness and what it really is.
Tomorrow Francis and Konstantin will be discussing Andrew’s new book, The End of Woke, and what the future of wokeness is in Western countries, where it’s still prevalent and whether it will survive.

Hi, Andrew. I know you like a bit of history, so... How do you think the 'Woke Epoch' will be looked at from the future 30+ years from now.
Ie. Do you think it will be looked at the same way we look now at the 'dark ages', the witch trials, or Macarthism or even a War; as a divided time of high ideology and authoritarian and puritanical progressivism. One which developed to the point in which it infected all strata of society except for a brave few who spoke against it...., or will it be memory holed and ret-conned with no lessons learned.
