Hi Mr. O'Neill. I have "After The Pogrom" which is impressive in its detail/journalism. My question has 3 parts (hope I'm not cheating). 1. Despite the detail of your book (and Murray's and others) and even Hamas' own videos how has this failed to override the media narrative that 7 Oct was not so bad (maybe as Gaza) or was maybe Israeli propaganda (Eisenhower had the camps filmed to prevent denialism...today it wouldn't matter). 2. The redefinition of language in making discussion impossible. By the media unquestioningly applying the false redefinition of "genocide" to the IDF in Gaza (or Miliband's false "ethnic cleansing" slur) it is impossible to debate facts. How has this happened and how to overcome it? 3. What has happened to the Irish? You're an O'Neill. My mom was a Hanrahan. We loved the Jewish people. Now Ireland has become such a cesspool of anti-semitism that I now say "I used to be half-Irish". What happened? Can it (we) be fixed? Slainte. BMacL
Hi Brendan, great to see you on again, thankyou for sticking up for the truth especially regards to the Israel Gaza conflict, if this isnt answered in the interview do you think that the "free free palestine" brigade CAN EVER have their minds changed to see sense? or is it like Orwell said that even in the face of irrefutable evidence they will still hang on to their position as they have so much ego invested in their belief?
Will this be the the straw that leads to civil war? I can imagine it will be a clusterfuck between uk "patriots" for want of a better description - and jews - vs islam and green liberals, all sections against the police - with the govt using it as an ideal excuse for draconian measures. I am not hopeful for the next ten years. I used to look forward to the future , now stuff like this crosses my mind every day, and i either want to be far dead when it happens or want it to happen soon so ive got half a chance of defence! I hope you guys are not so pessimistic!
Can you explain and provide an understanding of why our government (and previous governments) have ignored the need to stop illegal migration and control legal migration.
I just can’t get my head around why they are continuing on the path of the willful destruction and erasure of our country and its culture.
Here in the US the argument you get about the frequency of the gaza marches is usually: well, we are providing the aid to israel
Is there some kind of aid the Irish government is supplying to Israel that I am unaware of? And if not, how do the Irish marchers explain their obsession with this issue above all others?
