We live in an environment where people continue to celebrate with joy the murder of domestic political opponents. Scott Galloway, a critic of violence, seems to have engaged in stochastic terrorism in calling for Elon Musk to be treated the same as executed traitors. It seems we’re on the edge of political violence on a scale similar to the Great Terror. How can we focus on humanity’s long term future if our near-term future is in such dire straits?
Dear Doctor Weinstein, how would you organize scientific research to avoid the fact that in several domains, out the box thinking or results that do not fit the main theory of the day are stifled or censored, such as is the case for fundamental physics, archeology, or all climate-related science ? What do you think about the idea that the current hyper specialisation journey of a researcher (through master, PhDs, and post doc,...) constrain scientific free thinking, meaning that we have now only 'experts' where before we had 'savant' ?
You are someone that has intimate knowledge of the influential relationship between Harvard and various parts of the US Federal government. Do you see yourself as part of that influence machine or, now that you know how it operates, would rather not be in that club anymore? How would someone escape from that, if one were so inclined?
Does the professor agree that the as AI takes more and more jobs, those must affected will take out their anger on history's most common scapegoat, the jews? Is this already happening?
Hi Eric, if or when AI becomes more knowledgeable and analytically capable than most humans, should education shift its focus from knowledge-based intelligence towards developing human capacities such as curiosity, judgement, wisdom and the ability to navigate uncertainty? And how would we measure those qualities?
Hi Eric, what do you know about Susie Wiles? Do you think she and her cohort of 5 others really block MAHA and possibly other popular movements? Or is this a normal midterm, lame duck flip?
You recently posted on X that "Hyper-Liberal illiberalism must be reversed by Hypo-Liberal illiberalism." in regards to Marco Rubio's comments about rejecting managed decline. This seems to line up with Peter Thiel's views derived from Strauss. This sounds a bit like "We had excessive Wokeness from the Left so to balance that out we're going to need some Wokeness from the Right to balance things out." and comes off as dialectical. Is that a fair reading or can you elucidate?
My question for Eric: As we infuse our lives with AI technology, and technology in general, are we opening the door to techno-totalitarianism? Will society and civilisation become less free - inside the perimeters set by digital technology?
Last time he was on Rogan he said that the govt asked him Lex Friedman and Sam Harris to help with disclosure lol. Please please interrogate this? Even only as a follow up! How does someone just say something so ridiculous and it just flies under the radar. I’m sure the trig team can find the time stamp:)

Why did you never release your talk with Michael Malice?
