If you could teach one lesson you learned in the military to people who do not have any military experience, what would it be?

Other than the forms of intervention you highlight as being horrific in terms of literally ending life, what others are there that you have concerns about?

Do you feel the stigmitization and tighter regulation of opioids for the control of chronic pain have increased the demand for MAID? Are patients with chronic conditions being pushed toward MAID rather than receiving medical interventions which could improve their quality of life?

What forms of therapy do you wish more people were aware of the efficacy of? There are a lot of newer therapies that show some promise i.e emdr, mushroom, ketamine etc, any others? Or opinions on these for PTSD and trauma?

What is the current age stratification of MAID procedure in Canada ? I suppose if the policy was working as intended, the fraction of people below 50 (for example) should be very small ? Is this stratification reviewed by the governement ? And is it true that MAID has become the 5th cause of death in Canada ?

A Difficult Freedom: Compassion sometimes requires a legal choice.

I was involved in the successful campaign to introduce Voluntary Assisted Dying in Australia. I do not like the government controlling matters like this because bureaucracy is famously slow and inefficient. They will issue the correct permit three weeks after the person had already died. But some people do need a legal way out. That's reason enough to have it. When my time comes, I will rely on the old system - A conversation with my doctor and proper pain relief.

How do we encourage people to talk to their doctor and not their local government department?

What's been the greatest success in the fight against MAIDS and all similar ilk, and what's been the hardest failure?

Kelsi you conflate assisted dying with eugenics, however wouldn't a more perfected version of eugenics detect and remove potential "clients" of a future such "clinic" from society in the womb?

Hi Kelsi, how close are we to "Soylent Green" with assisted death and green coloured powdered drinks on sale as a "nutritional supplement" ! i feel MAID is a slippery slope that cannot be turned back, its bad for the spiritual health of humanity.
