Brianna Wu is a video game developer, computer programmer, and Democrat activist. After several years working as a journalist, a political fundraiser and managing an animation studio, Brianna entered the public eye in 2014 as an outspoken opponent of Gamergate, advocating for equal (or more equal) gender representation in video games and in their creation. She has run for Congress twice and continues to be proactive in her support for the Democratic Party.

Earlier this year, she joined us for a fascinating interview about her political journey. It was an invaluable insight into the mania of leftists and how the extreme left managed to alienate even vocal supporters from their party.

So why did we invite her back?

Brianna can boast enemies in both camps. To the right, Brianna is yet to repent for her position on Gamergate. To the left, her pro-Israel stance is an insurmountable sin, while her nuanced take on trans issues continues to draw scorn from activists.

While far from right-wing, Brianna is not a zealot to the left. And after Kamala’s resounding defeat last week, we wanted to get a vocal Democrat’s perspective on what happened. If the danger of Trump is radically apparent, how did he win so convincingly? “If Trump is this bad and we still lost, what are we doing wrong?”
