Do you think there will ever be a significant raise in the VAT threshold ie from £90k to something like £250k PA? Just as you start to do well the Govt says"Hi there, thanks for your hard work, from now on add 20 percent to your labour and give it to me, or ill put you in jail"

Just as small businesses get to the point of expansion and employing staff this throws a spanner in the works for a lot of businesses.

French listener here (yes you have some!). I've listened the various debates Mr Presley had on the DOAC, and while he raises great points about technology improving agency of people, and the consequential need to restructure education, he rarely address the reality that most people are not/do not want to be entreprenarial. From people doing service jobs to scientists that may not seek to be entrepreneurs but 'just' advancing science, can Mr Presley address how he thinks these kind of people will fare in the future, and if he has advices for them, share them ? Thanks and keep up the great work!

Singapore have very strict rules relating to immigration and employment. Should a similar approach be taken here in the uk to help young people and entrepreneurs?

I'm familiar with the way the VAT threshold impacts the building trade, especially when it comes to the ability of independents to take on apprentices. Can you give more details on the problems caused by IR35? What's the opportunity cost to the UK economy? Is there a fairer way to separate out legitimate contractors from employees in all name?

Creativity in business. Daniel, as someone who loves building new things, creating new realities what would you say are the most important creative abilities for an entrepreneur?

Can they be developed? And how to make sure that creative spark doesn’t fade away with time?

If you had the opportunity to be chancellor of the exchequer in the UK what would be your 5 main priorities? And what policy would you like to implement that many people would call you crazy for wanting to do?
