David Buss is an American evolutionary psychologist at the University of Texas at Austin, researching human sex differences in mate selection. He is considered one of the founders of evolutionary psychology.
His primary research focuses are on human mating strategies, conflict between the sexes, and the psychology of prestige, status, and reputation.

Why is it that, seemingly all at once, so many people are questioning their gender? Why has gender dysphoria become so prevalent? What changed to bring this about? How did schools become involved in it?
Working myself in mental health. So many of the people I see with depression and anxiety can be looked at through a evolutionary lens. People with no role, nothing to protect and provide for, or nurture and care for, disconnected from wider communities and in person contact, disconnected from nature, or simply in constant fight or flight from the onslaught of modern life, deadlines and news cycles.
What can we do as a society, and as individuals, to help our caveman brains be more healthy.
