Dominic Cummings
Brexiteer and ex-Chief Advisor to the British Prime Minister
Dominic Cummings is a former Chief Adviser to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. He is a British political strategist who served as Chief Adviser to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson from 24 July 2019 until he resigned on 13 November 2020.
From 2015 to 2016, Cummings was the director of Vote Leave, the campaign group advocating for the UK to leave the European Union. His strategies, including the slogan "Take back control," were instrumental in the success of the Brexit referendum.
Following his departure from Downing Street, Cummings has been vocal about government operations, criticising the handling of the COVID-19 response and the UK's political system. He has since started a technology consultancy firm, Siwah Ltd., and maintains a Substack blog where he shares his views on a wide range of topics, from politics to science.
Tomorrow, Francis and Konstantin will discussing the efficiency of the Civil Service, successive British governments, the current major political parties and the direction of the country.
