Maggie Oliver is an ex detective turned whistleblower who resigned from Greater Manchester Police in 2012 to expose the full extent of failings by police and social services to investigate and prosecute the serious sexual abuse and exploitation of hundreds, if not thousands, of children by organised networks of perpetrators.
Tomorrow she will be returning to Triggernometry with Jade, a grooming gang victim, who is very bravely going to tell her own powerful story of her childhood and what she went though.
Maggie is going to provide the broader picture of what happened and what is happening with the scandal and inquiry, but the focus will be on Jade telling her story with Maggie’s support.
