Melissa Chen, born in 1985 in Singapore, is the director of a business intelligence firm specializing in analysing China risk. She’s also a free speech activist, having co-founded Ideas Beyond Borders, a non-profit that translates pivotal books about topics ranging from science and liberty into Arabic, and distributes and disseminates them in the Middle East for free.
