This is an interview unlike any other we’ve done. Then again, Tony Lapidus isn’t your typical guest.
At a time crying out for good satire, Tony has earned cult following for his hilarious impersonations of political figures, journalists, commentators, and other media personalities. His repertoire includes Douglas Murray, Lex Fridman, Tucker Carlson, Piers Morgan, James O’Brien and, well, TRIGGERnometry.
Today, his YouTube channel boasts just shy of 40,000 subscribers.
Why did we invite him on?
We’ve been fans of Tony’s for a while, but as soon as we saw that we’d been deployed as characters in his cinematic universe, we started working behind the scenes to get him on our show.
Tony agreed, but unfortunately, couldn’t stay long. Thankfully, he’d taken it upon himself to invite some of celebrity friends to take his place. What resulted is one of the most unorthodox interviews we’ve ever conducted, and undoubtedly one of the most hilarious.
What did we talk about?
First to join us was old Trig favourite Douglas Murray. It’s been too long since we spoke, and it was fantastic to take the opportunity to catch up, get his updated thoughts of best pal Dave Smith, and find out once and for all: has he ever beeeeeen?
Tragically, Douglas also had to leave. Thankfully, Piers Morgan himself showed up. We asked him about the cutting-edge journalism present on Uncensored, before he dropped a bombshell about Meghan Markle’s previous attempts to seduce him.
