Can a civilisation survive without a commonly held set of values based in religion? Has the western retreat from Judeo-Christian values played a large part in the ongoing decline of that civilisation?

Hi Dinesh. Long time fan. How do you suggest young conservatives to properly integrate their Judeo-Christian values into the political landscape and what is your approach to Islam and its compatibility with the Western cultural/ Political values of liberty, free speech and constitutional democracy? Thanks. Matt Absolon.

What do you think conservatives misunderstand most about the concept of freedom — and what do progressives misunderstand most?

Were conservatives losing the culture war because they focused too much on politics and not enough on art, storytelling, and symbolism?

I've heard that very few politicians watched 2000 Mules, which seems odd, considering how impactful election rigging is. Do you think enough progress has now been made to make US elections reasonably secure?

Hi Dinesh, do you think the Trump administration can get any cases of wrongdoing against people like Comey,Bolton, Leticia James etc to stick , and your opinion please on how necessary these and similar cases are in terms of A) upholding the law and constitution or B) in the long term interests of America in creating a tit for tat for the next century? I can see the arguments for and against but believe if the guilty are not punished it will get worse, and only go one way.

What are some areas the Trump administration could improve upon after the first year in power? What are some criticisms you would have?

the extreme "right" (fuentes, owens etc.) seem highjly sympathetic to hamas/the Palestinians.

Could that he because hamas can be understood as an extreme right wing group: theocratic, homophobic, authoritarian combimed with a narrative that "immigrants" ruined their lives?

Many of us were driven away from the Democratic party by woke excesses like racism, sexism, and antisemitism. What are conservative leaders doing to minimize the racists, sexists, and antisemites in the Republican party so independents don't swing back en masse?

What do you think about the idea that true patriotism means protecting your homeland, its people, and its culture above all else—perhaps even grabbing a gun to defend them—while the government should only come in third place? Why do you believe that in big countries today, like Russia in its war with Ukraine, people who prioritize defending the government call themselves patriots, when in reality, it seems like the Ukrainians resisting invasion are the real patriots? How does this align with American values from a conservative perspective?

Now that the unipolar order has ended with China emerging as a great power, why is it still so controversial to acknowledge China’s greatness as a people and a civilization, yet confront the obvious reality that the opening of trade did not—and will not—liberalize its politics? China remains an unrepentant authoritarian Communist state, with clear and explicit interests that are inherently, and increasingly, at odds with our own and with those of most of our free-world allies. How great is this challenge, and how central is this question to the century ahead? Can we realistically expect it to be addressed in a serious and bipartisan way in the foreseeable future?

What is the best argument you could put to a well educated atheist (i.e hitchens) as to why Christianity is the way? What logical argument is there for the spiritual aspects (i.e god as the creator, jesus resurrection etc) beyond treating the stories as literally false but metaphorically true?

One of the few issues that unites Americans is the very high cost of health care, yet Trump proposes to reduce healthcare subsidies for poor Americans who use the "Obamacare" health care exchanges to obtain health insurance. Is this a serious political mistake by Trump? Why can't the Republicans put forward a workable plan for lower cost healthcare? It would be an election winner.
