As he barely mentions it, you might be surprised to discover Francis has Venezuelan heritage during this interview, you might also be interested to know he was once a teacher. Anyway my question is, what are your thoughts if any on a socialist mayor for new York?

Why is the exodus of Venezuelans so under reported? We now have 2 Venezuelan food stands at our local food festival in our small Brazilian city in São Paulo state which is really weird when you consider how far away from the boarder we are and away from any major city

How do we unf*ck Venezuela, or is it a lost cause?

Also, given the massive rise in people my generation (Gen Z) and younger moving towards radicalism, including socialism, how do you reverse it and get them to realise that this is a bad thing to vote for, and therefore stop America from becoming Venezuela?

Why do people keep choosing socialism — again and again — when history’s shown it works about as well as a chocolate teapot?

Every time, it starts with cheering crowds and ends with empty shelves.

Do we secretly enjoy disappointment?

Or, is there something irresistible about the idea that this time, giving all your money to the government will finally make you happy?

Would Daniel be in favor of foreign efforts to depose Maduro and his regime? If yes, what sort of efforts would he prefer: an invasion and arrest such as Manuel Noriega in Panama? Support for home-grown rebels such as the Sandinistas in Nicaragua? A non-violent program of ostracism such as Apartheid in South Africa? Or some other solution or combination of methods?
