Your advocacy is admirable, and I’ve been following your work for a long time. Even more closely since October 7th. As an Israeli, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support at a time when we need it most.

Many Israelis, across the political spectrum, feel a deep solidarity with the Iranian people. We’ve often said we would endure missiles and shelters if it meant seeing Iranians free. And now we do.

There is a growing concern that neither Trump nor Netanyahu views the Iranian people as a priority in the same way we do. Are you afraid that, for them, the Iranian people are merely a geopolitical pawn? If they were to abandon the cause of the Iranian people once their own strategic goals are met, what happens then? Do the people of Iran still have a path to victory against the regime on their own?

Even if the Islamic regime were toppled that would still leave a sizeable percentage of Shia Muslim population in Iran, a hardcore influential zealot part of which although unarmed, still expressing a desire for a theocracy. How would a post regime democratic Iran cope with such people?
