Your advocacy is admirable, and I’ve been following your work for a long time. Even more closely since October 7th. As an Israeli, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support at a time when we need it most.

Many Israelis, across the political spectrum, feel a deep solidarity with the Iranian people. We’ve often said we would endure missiles and shelters if it meant seeing Iranians free. And now we do.

There is a growing concern that neither Trump nor Netanyahu views the Iranian people as a priority in the same way we do. Are you afraid that, for them, the Iranian people are merely a geopolitical pawn? If they were to abandon the cause of the Iranian people once their own strategic goals are met, what happens then? Do the people of Iran still have a path to victory against the regime on their own?

Is President Trump arming the protesters? Otherwise, how exactly are they supposed to not get mowed down in the streets by IRGC and Basij members when the 'taking of the capital' is eventually commanded?

Do you think Iran is ready for democratic elections and what sort of government do you think will be formed if Iranians are able to free themselves from the tyranny of the Islamist regime?

Do the Mullahs, and the IRGC and Basij commanders, genuinely believe the shahadat and clerical ideology they preach and brutally enforce, or are they just another kleptocratic elite protecting their massive wealth, their power, their hypocritical lifestyles, and ultimately their lives? Because that determines whether this regime can be negotiated with or only broken.

Hello Elica,

Firstly, I applaud your work and dedication to the Iranian people’s cause. I hope my wife and I can visit your place of heritage one day and experience a restored Persian culture.

Your parents had to watch their country be undone by the Islamic Regime. Similarly you, Francis and Konstantin have been seeing your own country be slowly turned inside out by similar people. Does the British in you have the same sense of protection for the UK like you have for your Persian heritage, and if yes, what would you say to the British people in order to prevent what could happen to them like what happened in Iran 47 years ago?

Even if the Islamic regime were toppled that would still leave a sizeable percentage of Shia Muslim population in Iran, a hardcore influential zealot part of which although unarmed, still expressing a desire for a theocracy. How would a post regime democratic Iran cope with such people?

What are the factions of Iranian society that you think are most prepared to take on the Islamic republic after the US and Israeli operations end, and do you fear the end result of this could be a prolonged Civil War like Syria?

Australia is already experiencing fuel shortages. Food shortages are likely to materialise later this year and well into the future as oil based fertilisers become scarce and transportation becomes more expensive. What level of world starvation makes this action worthwhile, assuming the best possible case for Iran? (Which seems unlikely to me. Syria or Libya seem like best case scenarios for Iran.)
