Two questions:

1) Divorce reveals who people really are — what’s the biggest surprise you’ve seen in human behaviour during that process?

2) How has technology — texting, social media, dating apps — changed the way people fall in and out of love?

I must say, having heard Saxton speak on other topics, I am very sceptical of his scepticism towards marriage. Largely because I grew up with Jordan Peterson on YouTube and therefore am familiar with all of his counter-arguments that marriage is the best thing a person can do. I would be curious to hear his response to the Jordan Peterson view of marriage, and would be interested to see the two of them speak together.

How can couples successfully resolve the sex drive gap that forms after having children? In so many relationships the drop off in the woman's libido while unchanged in the man is what leads to a lot of relationship tension and eventual separation due to unmet needs on both parts.

James, sitting before you is a married man who has been with only one woman and Francis the forever fornicator. As a divorced man, who of the two do you envy most?

Marriage contracts were the norm for centuries in cultures throughout the world. Provision for resultant children and a widow were spelled out explicitly and generally followed cultural norms by socio-economic levels. Would Mr. Sexton advocate returning to this norm? Would changing state and federal laws make marriage contracts more effective and attractive?

That's a great question. The main opposition to explicit marriage contracts would be, imo, from women who stand to lose the most from the current state of the law.

Do you think its fair that someone poor can marry someone rich, have a two year marriage then claim a large chunk "because they can" ? Do you think this is the main reason why men with some assets may be reluctant to marry?

Do you see A.I. replacing many of the human elements of lower tier justice implementation in the courts as well as higher profile cases, as in your own portfolio...and how do you feel about that?

That's a great question. As an attorney, I see much discussion about the possible effects of AI on lawyers and their job prospects, but I see almost nothing about replacing judges with AI.

I've been floating the idea of bringing back arranged marriage as a way to solve population collapse. It seems to be working for the Amish. Do arranged marriages work? Is this an idea you would endorse?

How biased are the family courts when it comes to child custody? Is there still an assumption that the mother is a capable care taker while the father has to prove he is capable?

JJS: Have you ever considered trying your hand at a comedy open mike night? Your wit, wisdom, and wealth of knowledge about the human condition HAS to be fertile ground for some serious (?!) humor. (Not as a career change, just a foray into that medium.)

Good idea. He definitely has everything it takes to be a actor: presence, looks, voice and large ego, but definitely not a career change - he makes $750+ an hour.
