If you were stood in front of parliament in the UK (or any other way European country) what would be the simplest bit of data or anecdote you would use to prove the point about investing in nuclear? Logic seems to be failing so far, so surely another route to persuade is required
Is oil ACTUALLY derived from years of squashed vegetation from 200 million years ago? i was told this at school and its oft repeated but ive never seen or heard something that actually proves it to my satisfaction, in the way the making of synthetic diamonds actually makes sense. Happy to be convinced either way i dont have an axe to grind just asking! thanks.
Assuming a warming earth and melting glaciers, would all that cold water from the melting ice not cool the oceans and contribute to a period of global cooling?

I still don't understand why places like Britain, Australia, Germany, and certain US states to name a few, that are extremely well-positioned to be pro-nuclear, are not by-and-large pro-nuclear. It's like being morbidly obese and not liking GLP-1s. Why are some places pro and others not?
It seems like having somebody who is actually the energy industry as energy secretary could have a profound impact, with America showing the rest of the West exactly how to build large nuclear faster and cheaper.
