Candidate for Governor of California
Steve Hilton, was born to Hungarian refugees in the UK, where he grew up. He began his career in British politics, co-founded Good Business consultancy, and served as David Cameron’s Director of Strategy (2010–2012). Moving to Silicon Valley in 2012, he taught at Stanford, co-founded Crowdpac (political crowdfunding), and became a U.S. citizen in 2021. A populist conservative, he hosted The Next Revolution on Fox News (2017–2020) and authored Positive Populism. He is now running to be Governor of California.
Tomorrow, he is joining Francis and Konstantin in LA to discuss issues in California and explain how he hopes to fix them.

If elected, how does he plan to overcome the challenge of being a Republican governor with the supermajority-Democrat California legislature completely against everything he does? It seems like he would be somewhat crippled as a Republican governor because no matter what he does, the legislature will fight him on it (and probably win). Or they'll at least both be stalemated and unable to get anywhere. I'd love to hear his thoughts on that.
What states in America are in the best shape? Are there any democrat run cities or states that are actually doing really well?
