Please explain how the public service unions, especially the teachers' union, have gained so much influence in California politics and how does Steve propose to reduce that influence?

If elected, how does he plan to overcome the challenge of being a Republican governor with the supermajority-Democrat California legislature completely against everything he does? It seems like he would be somewhat crippled as a Republican governor because no matter what he does, the legislature will fight him on it (and probably win). Or they'll at least both be stalemated and unable to get anywhere. I'd love to hear his thoughts on that.

1.What are California's greatest resources and how can executive policy immediately impact the employment of them without waiting on the legislature?

2. How do you propose to rehome the Californians who lost their homes in the Palisades fire and are being slow-walked by government permitting, forced to sell out instead of rebuilding?

What are the first three things you'd do in government to stop over-reach by the state?

Would you consider using referendums to restrict government over-reach?

What states in America are in the best shape? Are there any democrat run cities or states that are actually doing really well?

Hi Steve, do you think you can break the democrat voters mentality of voting dem while ignoring the results of their policies? Larry Elder tried and failed! Good luck rgds Paul

Mister Hilton, how will you resolve the homeless crisis in California? Individual cities and the state have spent a vast amount of taxpayer money for a couple of decades and the problem continues to grow.

How do you even start to change policy, get people off the streets, tackle crime and drug use after years of appalling democratic rule. And with that how do you envision changing the minds of ordinary citizens.

There are places like Singapore, which are basically successful because Lee Kuan Yew ran the government like a high-end law firm. Is it possible to transform a state and/or federal government in such a way, given the complexities of the Western governing models? If not, how is it possible to have the high-quality governance of a country like Singapore or Norway, and are we doomed for eternity to meandering, frustrating, expensive bureaucracy?
