Matt Ridley is a British science writer, journalist and businessman. He is known for his writings on science, the environment, and economics, and has been a regular contributor to The Times newspaper. He is also a keen conservationist and has just released a new book Birds, Sex and Beauty.
He is a trained zoologist with a DPhil from Oxford University, where he studied under Richard Dawkins. Ridley gained prominence as a science writer, blending his academic background with an accessible, optimistic style.
